Marques de Casa Concha presents: Peranakan Cuisine & Fine Wine Masterclass
This National Day, the award-winning fine wine portfolio Marques de Casa Concha is celebrating the bold and fiery flavours of this unique cuisine with a Peranakan Food & Fine Wine Masterclass.
Open to all and free to register*, this masterclass will take place on Wednesday 7th August from 6.30pm at the BOSCH Experience Centre. Guests will cook their own Peranakan dishes under the watchful eye of Chef Tinoq Goh, before sitting down to sample the dishes and learning how to pair these vibrant and complex flavours with a diverse portfolio of fine wine.
The menu for the evening has been carefully curated to cover the full range of flavours and pairings including Ayam Limau Purut, chicken simmered in a light and aromatic coconut sauce infused with Kaffir lime leaves, Sotong Hitam, fresh squid cooked in squid ink garnished with onions, red and green chilies and Prawn Sambal Tumis, sautéed fresh large sea prawns cooked in a spicy, sweet & tamarind sauce, before sitting down to enjoy the dishes with an array of fine wines.
